As organisers of PiGs and with years of experience in the supply chain, Balls2 Marketing is an integral part of the glazing industry. Sarah Ball, Client Strategy Director, invites you to meet the 12-strong team from this dynamic marketing agency that offers excellence in strategy, writing, digital and social media.
Meet the Balls2 Marketing team
People are the most important part of any company, and when it’s a professional, service led business like ours, it’s even more important. Andy Ball and I first opened the doors of the agency in 2010. We quickly saw the potential in the industry we love so much, and the rest is history. We have now grown the creative team from the two of us, to 12.
We work with clients across all parts of the supply chain, from fabricators to installers, and components to certification. We know that customers want us clued up when it comes to the industry. That’s why we keep abreast of the news and ahead of the trends to ensure that we know what’s happening. We understand our customers’ products, including the technical bits because that makes a real difference to what we offer clients.
PiGs is a big part of our business. Since taking it over five years ago, we have built it into a regular networking event for the glazing industry. We regularly get more than 200 people in attendance, and they are getting bigger every year. We don’t take any money for it, and all the cash from sponsorship goes towards the food and drink to get the evening started.
Lauren is our Senior Account Manager. She’s a strategic marketer and a great writer. With a degree in journalism, she came to us after moving back to Derby from London five years ago. She started as a PR assistant and quickly became an essential part of the team.
Account Manager, Simon spent years with a leading systems house which means he has a high level of experience and understanding of the industry. He’s a great writer, especially if there’s something technical.
Nikki came to us as a Graphic Designer but is now also our New Business Development and Projects Manager. She’s been an integral part of the growth of PiGs in the last twelve months.
Alita, Lucy and Tania are Account Executives. They are on our Graduate Training Programme and continue to study as they work. They are developing specialisation in aspects of marketing that interest them most and are honing their skills.
Digital Marketing Executive Callum first came to us as an apprentice. He passed levels three and four with flying colours, and since completing his course he has established himself as a superb member of the team.
Eva specialises in social media. She joined us soon after completing her apprenticeship and now works to deliver social media for more than 30 clients.
Features writer Wendy comes with an impressive career as a newspaper journalist. She focuses on case studies and features, working with editors across construction and home improvement titles.
Last but not least is intern Katie. She works part time with us while studying for her marketing degree at the University of Derby.
Now you’ve met us here, you can meet us for real at FIT Show. You’ll find us on Stand D30. Pop along and meet us for a drink at the PiGs bar for a chat about how we can help your business grow.
