The reopening of showrooms

It’s amazing how much the opening of the country’s pubs, restaurants and shops has lifted the mood of a nation. Seeing more people out and about makes it feel much more like normality, with most of the UK returning to their usual social activities after a long lockdown.

It’s also fantastic for businesses too, with the relaxing of rules meaning customers can enjoy walking into, what we now call, a non-essential shop, seeing and touching products in person rather than online.

It extends to the glazing industry too, as window and door showrooms open across the country.

This marks the perfect time to post to your social media channels to show customers that you’re open. A simple post just saying you can’t wait to welcome them back, keeps them updated and in the loop.

It’s also a great time to refresh your social media information, such as the opening hours on your Facebook page, or your pinned posts – the post which stays at the top of your social profile.

It can be easy to forget about pinned posts, but it’s important to keep it up to date as this is the first thing people see when they visit your page. If you’ve not updated the information about being open then you may lose out on business, so taking time out to make sure your feed is relevant and updated can go a long way.

So, if you have a showroom, update your page today, and let your customers know that you are looking forward to seeing them back in person. Also, add in any extra Covid measures you have in place so they will feel safe when visiting your showroom.
